Rick Black Architect
Husband and wife architects Rick and Cindy Black collaborate on a variety of projects. Rick established notoriety for the firm in 1996 with the design of Club de Ville, an Austin favorite. In 2005, Rick and Cindy enjoyed acclaim for the Evans Avenue residence, a 980 square foot house which received a five star green building rating. Their residential work is characterized by a rigorous composition of volume and light, and a personable scale as it relates to the individual as well as the surrounding context. They believe that houses should be built to a high standard of construction and use materials that will age gracefully.
